Getting Divorced in Nevada
According to Nevada Code, divorce may be obtained for any of the following causes:
- Insanity existing for 2 years prior to the commencement of the action.
- When the husband and wife have lived separate and apart for 1 year without cohabitation.
- Incompatibility.
Residency Requirements
The plaintiff or defendant must have been a resident of Nevada for a period of not less than 6 weeks preceding the commencement of the action.
Waiting Period
There is no waiting period in Nevada.
